Mozn Foundation Empowers Women in Al-Jawf Through Vocational Training and Livelihood Support

Economic empowerment of women is a fundamental condition for achieving sustainable development and the desired equality.

For this reason, Mozn Charitable Development Foundation, with the support of UNFPA Yemen, continues to train and empower women and girls through various economic empowerment programs in fields such as sewing, embroidery, and the production of incense and perfumes, among others. These initiatives aim to help women become productive, self-reliant, and capable of generating stable income for themselves and their families.

In the districts of Al-Hazm, Al-Ghail, and Al-Matammah in Al-Jawf Governorate, 40 women received vocational training and in-kind grants in the sewing and embroidery sector, as part of the Multi-Sectoral Services and Economic Empowerment Project through Safe Spaces for Women and Girls in Al-Jawf.

The project is implemented under the supervision of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs – Al-Jawf Branch.
