As part of efforts to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics in displacement hosting sites—and within the framework of its continuous work to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people—and with funding from UNICEF Yemen, Mozn Charitable Development Foundation implemented the distribution of 354 personal hygiene kits to displaced families in the camps of Maqroa, Hashkalah, and Deir Zabla in Al-Zuhra District, Al-Hudaydah Governorate.
This activity was carried out within the project “Improving Access to Sanitation Services and Promoting Hygiene in IDP Camps in Al-Zuhra District – Al-Hudaydah”.
The initiative coincided with the construction of 237 block latrines, the installation of sanitation networks, and the implementation of health awareness sessions led by community health volunteers in the targeted sites.
