Mozn Foundation Distributes Animal Feed to 1,000 Vulnerable Families in Qafl Shamar, Hajjah

As part of the Livelihood and Pastoral Support Project for Vulnerable Families, funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and under the supervision of the Office of Agriculture and Irrigation, Mozn Charitable Development Foundation implemented a distribution of animal feed for fattening sheep and small ruminants to 1,000 beneficiary families in Qafl Shamar District, Hajjah Governorate.

During the distribution, beneficiaries were provided guidance on how to properly use the feed and other livestock inputs.

This activity is part of several project interventions, including:

  • Distribution of 4,000 heads of small ruminants
  • Provision of cash assistance to vulnerable families to help reduce malnutrition and strengthen economic resilience

The initiative follows the principle:

“Do not give me a fish, but teach me how to fish.”

A delegation from FAO also attended the distribution to observe and support the activity.
