Field Visit to Review Emergency Response Project for Displaced and Flood-Affected Families in Al-Hodeidah

The Director of Jabal Ra’s District in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Sheikh Mutahar Al-Noor, along with the district’s Humanitarian Affairs Representative, the Project Manager, and the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Mozn Foundation, conducted a field visit to review the progress of the Emergency Response Project for internally displaced persons (IDPs), flood-affected families, and host communities.

The project is being implemented by Mozn Charitable Development and Social Foundation, with funding and support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), and under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

The initiative targets 600 families displaced or affected by floods in Al-Jarahi District through shelter and non-food item (NFI) interventions. The key items distributed included:

– Blankets, mattresses, and floor mats

– Kitchen tools and essential supplies

– Fans and lighting equipment

– Installation of emergency shelter tents and associated items

It is worth noting that the Foundation is implementing the same activities in Al-Jarahi District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate
